So What Is Playing Beyond the Game?

Our Play Beyond the Game (PBG) curriculum is really what sets us apart. At Beyond Sticks we love to empower women through sports, specifically field hockey, and our Play Beyond the Game skills is a huge way we accomplish that.

We look to build leaders on and off the field and we start early. We think about all those skills that are valuable to high school and college students, and working professionals, and teach those skills as early as elementary and middle school.

However, it’s not done by listening to someone talk about the skills, we integrate them into our practices, games, and team discussions. It’s a fun, interactive way to build confidence and future leaders.
