Heidi Lewis became the owner of Beyond Sticks in 2023 after three years of running the organization as Director of Performance and Operations.

As director Heidi oversaw the day to day operations of Beyond Sticks as the organization expanded operations into Maryland, grew to three levels of play, and added the Adapted Hockey program for individuals with developmental delays.

Before her director role at Beyond Sticks, she spent four seasons as the head field hockey coach at the Catholic University of America.

In her four years at the helm of CUA field hockey Heidi became the second most winning coach in program history, with an overall record of 45-27 and a Landmark Conference record of 26-2. Heidi was named the Landmark Conference Coach of the Year twice, and coached her players to 22 All Conference Selections, three Landmark Defensive Players of the Year, seven All Region players, and two All American selections.

Heidi is a member of the USA Masters Team, Level 3 USA Field Hockey certified coach, a USA Field Hockey Coach Educator, and holds an M.Ed. in Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership: Coaching from the University of Washington. Heidi played collegiately at American University, where she was an Academic All American, the Patriot League Scholar Scholar Athlete of the Year, and the Patriot League nominee for NCAA Woman of the Year.
