We are more than field hockey. Through game-based play and our signature Play Beyond the Game lessons, we empower athletes to grow as leaders on and off the field—building character, confidence, and resilience every step of the way.
Winter Season
Winter is underway. Registration is closed but you can still check out what’s going on. Offering both indoor turf and court options, our programs cater to all skill levels, from 1st graders just starting out to high school varsity players. Through a focus on skill-building, leadership, and confidence, we provide a holistic experience that goes beyond the game.

Our Story
We began with a vision use sport as a vehicle—teaching life skills through play. What started as a passion for field hockey has grown into a mission to empower athletes of all abilities with lessons in leadership, character, and resilience. By weaving joy and intention into everything we do, we’re shaping athletes who are not only skilled on the field but also prepared for life beyond the game.
We Embrace Failure!
Failure is often seen as something to avoid, but at Beyond Sticks, we see it as a critical part of growth. Coach JoJo shares how she continued to return as a player and now a coach for our programs as it helped her reframe failure—from a fear to a tool for learning and progress.
