Chrissy (Lewis) Summers is the founder and a coach consultant of Beyond Sticks. Over the past 13 years, Chrissy has coached both in high schools and collegiately, head coaching at the high school level for 5 years.  She served as a coach at Georgetown, where she also earned her Masters in Sports Management, Columbia, Vassar and Bryn Mawr, gaining valuable experience working with Division I and III programs.  In 2015, Chrissy and Beyond Sticks were awarded the Toyota and ESPNW Everyday Hero Award on behalf of her work inspiring girls. In 2018 she was awarded the NFHCA Junior Coaches award for the organization’s impact on the growth of the game.

Beyond Sticks was founded upon Chrissy's core belief that sport is is a conduit for life lessons you take long after you retire the uniform. Since the addition of her own 4 (!) kids, she is more committed than ever to keeping athletes in the game by building joy and self confidence. Chrissy splits time between Philadelphia and London.
